A Quirky Austin Tradition

What's the deal with Waterloo Records stickers? I don't know when or why this got started, but cutting up Waterloo Records stickers and re-arranging the letters to spell other things is a time-honored tradition 'round Austin. I used to have "mimes are too loud" written on the back window of my VW Microbus (next to a Superchuck sticker).
